The KZN Premier Cup focuses on talent development for young people. aQuellé kept the players hydrated at the final on 27 July, where Richards Bay FC claimed the championship title for 2025.

The Amashova Durban Classic once again drew enthusiastic cyclists from all over the country. The race offered a fun and challenging ride to families, friends and professionals – with a refreshing aQuellé ViV for everyone at the finish!

The aQuellé Foresyte Winter Classic, an FEI World Cup Qualifier, saw excellent showjumping from 12 – 16 June 2025. aQuellé was delighted to provide support and refreshment at the event.

On 18 May, a beautiful sunny morning dawned as thousands joined the 2025 Suncoast ECR Big Walk. The participants enjoyed a scenic walk along Durban's promenade and were refreshed by the new aQuellé ViV Berry Blue at the finish.

aQuellé refreshed the KAP Sani2C, which took riders on a thrilling 3-day mountain bike race through 270km of beautiful KZN landscape.

From 1 – 3 May 2025, aQuellé was on site at the USSA Track & Field Championships, which were held in Pretoria. Well done on outstanding performances!

A beautiful sunrise over the Indian Ocean saw the aQuellé Tour Durban start off from Moses Mabhida Stadium on 27 April. Enthusiastic cyclists of all ages enjoyed the scenic ride, with an exciting surprise at the finish – the new aQuellé ViV flavour, Berry Blue!

aQuellé, official water partner to Orlando Pirates, refreshed the annual Pirates Cup at the Marks Park Sports Club. The finals were held on 21 April and new victors claimed the Cup this year. Well done to Lerumo Lions who won the Men’s Under-21 title, and to Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies who took home the Women’s trophy.

The FNB Stadium was packed with fans to watch the annual Soweto Derby, Orlando Pirates versus Kaizer Chiefs, on 1 February 2025. aQuellé, the official hydration sponsor of Orlando Pirates, brought smiles to people’s faces and refreshed the players. Thank you Buccaneers for a fantastic game!

Despite challenging weather conditions, brave cyclists tackled South Africa's oldest road cycle race from Pietermaritzburg to Durban on 20 October. aQuellé met each cyclist with a bottle of ViV at the finish - well done!

On 12 and 13 October the KZN Netball Super League culminated at the Grand Finale. Official hydration sponsor aQuellé served delicious refreshment to all the players.

AmaZulu FC claimed the victory at the Prince Mangosuthu Legacy Cup in Ulundi on 7 September. aQuellé was delighted to keep the players refreshed with natural spring water and ViV sports drinks. Siyabonga Usuthu!

On 31 August, thousands of spectators watched talented pilots perform in the sky at Virginia Air Show. Refreshment was much-needed in the sunny Durban weather and aQuellé provided just that.

28 July saw some beautiful soccer between KZN’s best teams. aQuellé joined the teams at the Prince Mangosuthu Regional Stadium to keep the players refreshed and hydrated. After a thrilling final, Royal AM emerged victorious and claimed this year's KZN Premier's Cup title.

Sunshine, exercise and refreshment along the way! aQuellé hydrated the thousands of participants who showed up for the 702 Walk the Talk on 28 July 2024. The event brought together South Africans from all walks of life to promote fitness, community involvement and our rich national heritage.

On Mandela Day, 18 July 2024, aQuellé brought joy by sharing our flavours! The aQuellé Flavour van toured Durban and delighted commuters with delicious refreshment.

From 13 – 17 June, the aQuellé Foresyte Winter Classic was hosted at the Shongweni Club. Riders were supported by family and friends and superb show-jumping was enjoyed by all.

On 20 May aQuellé had the pleasure of hosting AmaZulu FC for a tour and joined the team in a fun soccer clinic with local school teams. Siyabonga kuSuthu!

From the mountains of Lesotho, the winding trail took Sani2C cyclists down to Scottburgh on the coast. The 3-day trek was filled with mud, adventure, family fun and ice-cold aQuellé!

On Sunday 21 April the annual aQuellé Tour Durban cycling race took place. The event brought families and friends together to enjoy a scenic cycle along the Durban coast.

The UJ Men’s Junior Football Team emerged victorious at the 2024 Pirates Cup, while JVW secured the women’s championship title. Well done to all the players and thank you to Orlando Pirates for putting together a fantastic tournament.

Paarl Gimnasium hosted the renowned Jean de Villiers Rugby Festival on 21 to 25 March. Top U16 rugby teams from across the country faced each other to fight for the winners' trophy. aQuellé refuelled the players with the aQuellé ViV Sports and Power drinks.

From 17 to 23 March soccer teams from across the continent competed at the COSAFA Beach Soccer tournament on Durban’s South Beach Arena, with Morocco claiming the victory!

15 & 16 March saw stiff competition between the top athletes of KZN. Well done to all for your outstanding performances. We enjoyed refreshing you with aQuellé!

aQuellé was there to bring refreshment at the renowned Dusi Canoe Marathon from 15 to 17 February. Adventurous canoeists paddled down the uMsunduzi and uMgeni rivers, winding their way from Pietermaritzburg to Durban. Well done to all the winners and to each one who completed the challenge!

The weekend of 10 & 11 February saw young and old dive into the challenge of completing their first, or yet another, aQuellé Midmar Mile. Family and friends were there to support and congratulate each swimmer, while aQuellé kept everyone refreshed and hydrated!

We splashed into the new year with the aQuellé River Mile on 19 and 20 January. The picturesque setting on the Sunday’s River, Gqeberha, saw many outstanding miles swum, with family and spectators contributing to a fun friendly atmosphere. Congratulations to the River Mile reaching an incredible milestone of 100 years!

Come rain or shine, it’s time to ride! On 22 October, aQuellé was at South Africa’s oldest road classic cycle race, the Amashova Durban Classic. Congratulations to all participants who braved the rain for an outstanding achievement.

aQuellé was there to refresh the CAF Women’s Championship League. The tournament came to an exciting head with the finals on 8 September 2023. Well done to the champions!

AmaZulu FC were crowned 2023 KwaZulu-Natal Premier’s Cup champions after narrowly beating Richards Bay in the final on 23 July. Congratulations to all the teams that played in a thrilling, action-packed weekend of soccer.

aQuellé KHULA and East Coast Radio joined forces on Mandela Day to clean up with volunteers and community members. Approximately five hundred bags of litter were collected at the Durban harbour, Ntuzuma and Klaarwater townships, as well as Newcastle and Atteridgeville.

The thrilling COSAFA Cup tournament saw the best of football in southern Africa with the finals kicking off on 16 July. Congratulations to Zambia for winning, with Lesotho going for silver and South Africa for bronze!

aQuellé refreshed the KZN Netball U15 Mini-World Cup on 13 & 14 July, with talented players from different teams coming together for an exciting tournament.

aQuellé was part of the 2023 SPAR Women’s Challenge in Durban on 25 June. Approximately 10 000 participants walked and ran for a lovely, active day with family and friends. Congratulations to all!

The Shongweni Club hosted four days of world class performance from 15 to 18 June. The 2023 aQuellé Foresyte Winter Classic was a display of amazing talent with aQuellé to refresh participants and supporters alike!

Family fun, scenic beach views, KZN's biggest walking event on 18 June! aQuellé was in on the action and revived all the walkers with a bottle of ice-cold ViV at the finish line.

The Old Mutual Go2Berg is a 6 and half day mountain bike ride through the heart of South Africa, where the journey is more important than the destination. aQuellé was there to make the journey that much more refreshing!

We celebrated the 99th anniversary of Africa's oldest open water swimming event, the aQuellé River Mile, in Nelson Mandela Bay in Port Elizabeth on Thursday the 16th of February 2023!

The aQuellé Midmar Mile has reached the great milestone of 50 years. We enjoyed keeping everyone refreshed and creating memories and milestones that last a lifetime.

The 2022 aQuellé Foresyte Winter Classic held at Shongweni Club saw some incredible talent and an atmosphere buzzing with energy.

aQuellé KHULA joined a wonderful initiative together with the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment in caring for our environment.

Thousands of swimmers enjoyed the all-new ViV Power and Sports Drinks range at the world’s largest open water swim.

Together with KwaSizabantu Mission, aQuellé and community members embarked on a local clean-up on Saturday, 25 October 2021. In association with local councilors from Umvoti and Maphumulo, a tremendous turnout of close to 500 people saw the day to be a great success.

The aQuellé team was active at the aQuellé Midmar Mile this weekend! While this year’s event was different to what everyone was looking forward to, the Elite race held on Sunday was thrilling and we congratulate the winners on their outstanding performances.

During International Clean-Up and Recycle Week, we planted trees at schools in our local communities, as part of the aQuellé Spread Kindness campaign.
