aQuellé natural spring water range

aQuellé water is drawn from an underground spring and is endorsed by SANBWA (South African National Bottled Water Association).

The natural spring water range has a convenient offering and something for everyone with the Still natural spring water – 500ml, 750ml with sports cap, 1.5L and 5L – and Sparkling natural spring water – 500ml and 1.5L.

The range’s new packaging made a big splash in Summer 2010 with the chic bottle and fresh, classy label.

Under the new bottled water legislation (No. R718 of 2006, GN. 29051) aQuellé is classified as natural water and spring water.

Natural water is defined as: bottled water derived from an underground formation which has not been modified and has not undergone treatment other than: separation from unstable constituents by decantation or filtration, removal of carbon dioxide, addition of carbon dioxide.

Spring water is defined as: bottled water sourced from an underground formation from which water flows naturally to the surface of the earth, and which is collected from the spring or a borehole tapping the underground formation, and which may be classified as a 'natural water' or 'water defined by origin', depending on the treatments undergone.
