aQuellé bottles are made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is a type of plastic resin, a form of polyester labelled with the number 1.

aQuellé is an associate member of Polyco, which is a plastic recycling company and represents the South African industry’s joint effort to regulate post consumer PET recycling.

Polyco is focused on making waste a valuable resource that works for our economy. They aim grow the collection and recycling of plastic packaging in South Africa, to promote the responsible use and reuse of this plastic packaging and to end plastic waste in the environment.
